He is survived by: his children, Jim Scheffler of Hancock, Iowa, Jane (Gary Mohr) of Bettendorf, Iowa, Lisa Paulsen of Omaha, Nebraska and Mark (Toni Scheffler) of Oakland; his grandchildren, Tom, Doug, Mike Scheffler, Nick, John, Craig, Casey Mohr, Eric Paulsen, Kinsey and Cole Scheffler; and his great grandchildren, Stella, Lily, Callie, Duke, Jack, Dixie, Molly, Roman, Katie, Guy, Max, Ben, Chris, John, David, Kylie, Myles, Colton, Oliver, Caroline, Charlie, Auggie, Theo and Henrik. He is also survived by other family members, and many friends.
