We announce the death of Phyllis A. Meyer of Avoca, Iowa, who passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Brown and Dosena Brown (Nielsen); her husband Eldon Chaney (Virgil); her brother Robert; her sister-in-law Barb Brown; and her son-in-law Dan Duus.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laraine Scott (Robert) of Avoca, Patti Weirich (Davey) of Avoca and Denice Duus of Omaha. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; other family and friends.
