Steven leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steven’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Steven will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Sandberg and Betty Sandberg (Talbott); and his sister Kandis Lee Jones. He is survived by: his daughter Megan Sandberg (James Shiffer) of Oakland, Iowa; his grandchildren, Levi and Aubrey; his siblings, Mike Sandberg (Eva) of Crescent, Iowa and Chris Cole (Mike) of Council Bluffs; and his brother-in-law Jerry Jones of Louisville, Nebraska. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family has suggested memorials in Steven's name be made to the Midlands Humane Society.
