It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harry James Lenz of Badger, Iowa, born in Wapello, Iowa, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Rasmus and Beth Olson; his sister Mildred; and his son-in-law Bruce Schwieger. He is survived by: his wife Donna Mae (Olson); and his children, Marty, Becky Higgs (Rob), Bonnie (Allan Shickman), Kathy Schwieger, Cindy Scheuerman (Randy), Rich (Pam) and Diane Penningroth (Tom). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Badger Lutheran Church (127 2nd Ave SE, Badger, IA 50516). A burial was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at the Blossom Hill Cemetery.
