With sadness, we share the passing of Shirley Jean Chapman of Bagley, Iowa. Shirley, born on October 4, 1949 in Jefferson, Iowa, passed away on August 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Shirley for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Hogge and Norma Hogge (Cabelka); and her brother Alvin Hogge. She is survived by: her husband Steve Chapman of Bagley; her daughters, Melissa Finnell (Dean) of Eureka Springs, AR and Brenda Pevestorf (Nathan) of Coon Rapids; and her sister Karen Smith (Scott). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Twigg Funeral Home - Panora (219 E Main St, Panora, IA 50216). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
