He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wood and Gladys Wood (Lieneman); his son Jason; and his siblings, Lois Fogarty and Roger Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Marie Brady of Baldwin; his children, Jennifer Engel (Dean) of Delmar, Joel Wood (Melissa) of Baldwin and Jonathan Wood (Jessica) of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Megan, Beth, Maranda, Evie, Izzie and Mayson; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Emma and Gavin; and his siblings, Dale Wood, Leon Wood (Chris), Keith Wood and Karen Spaete.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carson Celebration (318 W Pleasant St, Maquoketa, IA 52060). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Christ's Community Church in Monmouth, Hospice of Jackson County, or a charity of your choice.
