He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Phillip "Pete" Stemper and Helen Stemper (Hamblin); his wife Diane Stemper; his sons, Matt Stemper (Justine) of Johnston and Luke Stemper (Nathalee Grue) of North Liberty, Iowa; his grandchildren, Eliza and Ezekiel; his sisters, Mary Kress (Jim), Kathy Slaght (Steve), Ellen Kaiser (Bill) and Janice Stemper; his sister-in-law LaVonne Stemper; and his brother Peter Stemper. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
