Jerry will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Jerry by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Jerry is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Jerry’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Reimers and Lorene Reimers (Holmes); his great grandchild Wren Elizabeth Riser; and his siblings-in-law, Marty Lucia, Pat Miletick, Joyce Deitz and Tom Hatten.
He is survived by: his wife Connie of John's Catholic Church; and his children, Kim Lappin of Bancroft, Mike Reimers of Algona, Mark Reimers of Bancroft and Paula Baker of Algona. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baptist Catholic Church (204 S Summit Ave, Bancroft, IA 50517). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
