He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert "Gene" Lindenman; his father-in-law Chuck Quillin; and his stepfather Virgil Roorda. He is survived by: his mother Rosanne Roorda (Tinkle); his wife Valerie; his children, Brooke Recker (John) and Aaron Lindenman; his mother-in-law Mary Quillin; his siblings, Sheila Stump (John), Tim Lindenman (Cheryl), Andy Lindenman and Tricia Thomason (Mark); and his sister-in-law Diana O'Leary (Michael). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Barnes City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McVay Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Prairie Knolls Country Club.
