With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah J. Shady of Barnum, Iowa, who passed away on April 6, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Deborah farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Deborah is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Shady (Edwards) and Forrest Shady; and her siblings, Randy Shady, Marty Shady and Crystal Shady.
She is survived by: her children, Troy Busse (Mary) of Guthrie Center, IA, Al Busse of Rochester, MN and Josie Williamson (Bruce) of Columbia, IA; and her brothers, Ronald Shady of Cincinnati, IA, Craig Shady (Mary) of Longview, TX and Russ Shady (Donna) of Gowrie. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
