He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Patz and Helen Patz (Coffee); his children, Susan and Eugene Patz; and his grandsons, Jacob and Justin Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Patz (Rose) of Clare, David Patz (Marcy), Joann Waller (Randy) of Manson, Bill Patz (Laura) of Clare, Betty Johnson of Fremont, NE, Rose Ann Nichols (Allen) of Cedar Rapids and Carol Stocking (Bryan) of Sioux City. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
