It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest C. Rickabaugh of Battle Creek, Iowa, born in Correctionville, Iowa, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerald "Dick" Rickabaugh and Vivian Rickabaugh (Lorenzen); his wife Virginia Rickabaugh; his stepfather Willard Tolle; his sisters, Lois Monroe (Don) and Joyce Rickabaugh; and his grandson Hayden Rickabaugh.

He is survived by : his children, Tamera Rusch (James), Karman Reitz (Walt Rehse), Ernest Rickabaugh (Lynnette Buttler) and Gerald Rickabaugh (Gloria); his grandchildren, Travis Albers (Wendy), Brian Albers (Christina), Cory Albers, Jamie Boysen (Brian), Dustin Reitz, Trevor Reitz, Shayla Chambers (Shawn), Parker Rickabaugh and Lyrik Naugle; his great grandchildren, Kolby, Addison Albers, Damien Emery, Jaidyn, Carver Brown, Ellie Albers, Noah Reitz, Hailey, Dastyn and Whitney Reitz; and his siblings-in-law, Larry and Sharon Call. He is also survived by niece, nephews, family and friends.
