He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Watson and Alberta Watson (Preston); his wife Mary Jo Brueck; his daughters, Tammy Jo Ryan of Waterloo, IA and Marci Watson (Tom Zanter) of La Crosse, WI; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Ryan, Logan Ryan of Cedar Falls, IA, Chase Ryan (Madi Zika) of Waverly, IA, Breezy Ryan of Waterloo, IA and Lexi Zanter of La Crosse, WI; his siblings, Betty Meyer of Odebolt, IA and Roger Watson (Karen) of Ida Grove, IA; and his brothers-in-law, Henry Brueck (Dixie) of Holstein, IA and Robert Brueck (Cindy Tyler) of Camdenton, MO.
