He is survived by: his son Clayton Hayes (Colleen) of Newton, IA; his grandchildren, Jami Gander, Anjelica Hayes, Jessica Wolfe, Jacob Kendall and Jonathon Kendall; his siblings, Karen Tyler and Ron Hayes; his aunt Canda Green; his girlfriend Nancy Mercer; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Speelman and Melvin Mohler.
