She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Shore and Maude Shore (Neff); her husband Larry Schmidt; her son Steven Schmidt; her siblings, Jay Shore (Virginia) and June McKinny (Lloyd); and her siblings' children, Jerry, Dean Jr. and Joy.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Schmidt, Ed Schmidt (Deanna), Brian Schmidt (Julie) and Adam Schmidt (Connie); her grandchildren, Jason Kutzner, Jamie Schmidt, Marcus Schmidt (Shelby), Sydney Gratopp (Chase), Riley Schmidt, Yara, Joseph and River Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Asher, Kai Schmidt, Derek and Karson Schmidt; her brother Dean Shore (Letitia); her daughter-in-law Sally Schmidt; and her close friend Betty Fuchs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fredregill Family Funeral Home (107 N Main St, Baxter, IA 50028). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
