He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Smith and Ruby Smith (Kraft); and his son Darin Smith. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Anderson (John) of Guthrie Center and Joel Smith (Mary) of Bayard; his grandchildren, Chase Duncan of Grimes, Traci Gafford (Andrew) of Perry, Jordyn Smith (Melanie) of Guthrie Center and Justyn Smith of Bayard; his great grandchildren, Payton, Keeley and Ruby; and his brother LaVerne Smith (Donna) of Carroll. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Highland Township Cemetery - Bayard.
