With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Emojean Henry of Bedford, Iowa, born in Grant City, Missouri, who passed away on September 13, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Glen and Oneta Fern Merkling Stevenson; her son David Allen; her husband Volley; her stepfathers, Don Overman and Willis King; and her brother John Overman.

She is survived by : her children, Elenor Joanne, Pamela Ruth, Linda Beemer (Tim), Joanne Pierce (Loren), Glenda Hurst and Pam Nickell; and her sister Amy Cole (Vernon). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Friends of Family in Blockton, Iowa.
