He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walton and Helen Walton (Kapucian); and his siblings, George Walton, Mary Ann Nebendahl, Ray Walton, Richard Walton and Betty Wille.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Bluemle; his daughters, Colleen Walton (Patti Harm) of Chippewa Falls, WI and Leah Mast of Belle Plaine; his grandson Thaddeus Mast of Chicago, IL; and his daughter Emily Pogue (Joey) of Ft. Collins, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
