Rima K. Johnson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rima K. Johnson of Belle Plaine, Iowa, who passed away on March 16, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Zabelle Khachatourian and Ashot Khachatourian; and her brothers, Simon and Vahik. She is survived by: her sons, Armen and Derek; her children-in-law, Shelly and Tara; her sisters-in-law, Artemis, Silva and Lara; her nephew Martik; her niece Nina (Shane); her grandchildren, Halle, Emily, Desmond and Tobin; her grandson-in-law Connor; her great-niece Nyrie; and her great grandchild Layken.

For those who wish to honor Rima's memory, contributions may be made to the Belle Plaine Community Library in her name, or simply by doing what she did every day: showing up for someone and helping them know their worth.
