He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Keil (Buttolph); and his grandparents, Ardol, Elsie Keil, Cecil Buttolph, Arlene and Maynard Rowe.

He is survived by: his father Roger Keil; his siblings, Allan Keil and Janell Yaddof (David); his nieces, Rissa and Alyssa Yaddof; and his close friend Meena Ande.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hachmann-Mier Funeral Home & Cremation Service (100 N 6th St, Bellevue, IA 52031). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery (300 S 3rd St, Bellevue, IA 52031).
