It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ardell L. Hoff of Bellevue, Iowa, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hoff and Rose Hoff (Bechen); his parents-in-law, Paul and Mary Wubben (Berger); his siblings-in-law, Merlyn Borcherding, Donald Wubben, Bill Scharpf, Ralph Wubben, Ray Wubben, Ron Hying, James Wubben, Phil Winn, Darlene Scharpf, Leota McQuaid, Elaine Semrow and Eileen Jaeger; and his nephews-in-law, Michael McQuaid and Frankie Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Wubben; his children, Steve Hoff (Chris), Sharon Scholtes (Brent), Sheila Hefel (Doug) and Stuart Hoff; his grandchildren, Brandon (Carrie), Alison (Jesse), Britni (Eric) and Audrey; his great grandchild Lila; his sisters, Phyllis Borcherding and Marilyn Wubben; and his siblings-in-law, John Wubben, Joseph Wubben (Kris), Darlene Wubben, Lois Wubben, Rosella Hying, Agnes Ter Maat (Larry) and JoAnn Winn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
