He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Meier and Mavis Meier (Sprank); his parents-in-law, Margaret and Harry Klein; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Klein and Helen Klein.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Meier and John Meier; his siblings, Mark Meier, Lynn Meier and Kevin Meier (Karla); and his sister-in-law Mary Roos (Doyle). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hachmann-Mier Funeral Home & Cremation Service (100 N 6th St, Bellevue, IA 52031). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
