He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Arthur Peters, III (Joe) and Janet Sieverding (Peters). He is survived by: his nephew Jarod; his sons, Joseph IV, Justin and Tyler (Taylor); his siblings, Jill Peters and Mike Peters; his niece Sarah Jaeger; Paul Sieverding.

Every year Joe donated bikes to the local Bellevue children at Easter time.
