He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Monner and Laura Monner (Wall); his brothers, Donald Monner and Merwin Monner (Shirley); his brothers-in-law, Donald Berthel, Richard Budde and Clarence Kruser; his niece Denise Nemmers; and his nephew Gary Lee Budde.
He is survived by: his siblings, Yvonnne Budde-Kruser of Dubuque, Patricia Berthel of LaMotte and John "Pete" Monner (Joyce) of Maquoketa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Joe's memory.
