She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Brotherton and Gene Brotherton; her in-laws, James and Berenice Kennedy (Louie); her brothers, John, Richard and Jim; her siblings-in-law, Colleen Brotherton, Mary Catherine Young, Dorothy Beard, Marge Kennedy, Carla Kennedy, James Kennedy, Harold Young, Bernard Kennedy, Ed Kennedy and Dick Kennedy; her nephews, Mike, Mark Kennedy, Doug Young and Father Ron Young; and her niece Ann Beard.
She is survived by: her daughter Danielle Burken (Nick) of Sun Prairie; her grandchild Carter; her son Brad Powers (Rachel) of Peosta; her grandson Wesley; her son Greg Kennedy (Amy) of Glenwood; her grandson Cole Kennedy (Maddy) of Glenwood; her great grandchild Sophia; her grandchild Nate Kennedy of Des Moines; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Kennedy of Mesa, AZ and Michele Brotherton of Grapevine, TX. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
