He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Kilburg and Florence Kilburg (Weis); his siblings, Alvin Kilburg (Estelle), Albert Kilburg (Mary), Vernon Kilburg, Rita Roling (Raymond), Marcella "Sally" Banowetz (Paul), Earl Kilburg, Edna Reuter (Michael), Lloyd Kilburg (Monica) and Vincent Kilburg (Judy); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Scheckel and Diane Scheckel.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Scheckel; his children, Angie Dreifuerst (Brian), Gary Kilburg (Betty), Becky Giesemann (Tim), Scott Kilburg, Kathy Weimerskirch, Doug Kilburg and Debbie Schroeder (Mike); his grandchildren, Derrick, Cara, Jacob, Mikenzie, Benjamin (Joslyn), Ashley (Matt), Toby, Tate, Alex, Katerina, Emma, Andrea, Silas and Mikenna; his great grandchildren, Mason, Knox, Harper, Evelyn, Layla, Haddey and Grayson; his siblings, Leo Kilburg (Janis), Vera Schmidt (Levi) and Dula Tebbe (Leon); and his sisters-in-law, Katie Kilburg and Geri Evans (Jeff).
