He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Anna Lampe (Haxmeier); and his in-laws, Richard Lampe (Velma), Linda Lampe, Mercedes Herrig (Alvin), Helen Daugherty (John), Mary Sturm (Arnie) and Marcella "Babe" Junk (Dwain).
He is survived by: his wife Maryetta Schmidt (Peter); his children, Lori Kilburg (Dan), Chris Lampe (Kathie), Chuck Lampe (Bobbie) and Bill Lampe (Paula); his brother Norbert Lampe; and his siblings-in-law, Leonard Schmidt (Shirley), Vincent Schmidt, Vitus Schmidt (Bev), Levi Schmidt (Vera), Pat Trenkamp (Jiggs), David Schmidt (Audrey), Charlene Grothues and Tom Schmidt (Lee). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
