He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Kilburg and Florence Kilburg (Weis); his siblings, Vera Schmidt (Levi) and Dula Tebbe (Leon); and his in-laws, Alvin Kilburg (Estelle), Albert Kilburg (Mary), Vernon Kilburg, Rita Roling (Raymond), Marcella "Sally" Banowetz (Paul), Earl Kilburg, Edna Reuter (Michael), Lloyd Kilburg (Monica), Kenneth Kilburg, Vincent Kilburg (Judy), Lois Herrig and Dave Herrig.
He is survived by: his wife Janis Herrig; his children, Brian Kilburg (Cindy) of Clinton, Brenda Fox of Davenport, Karen Kilburg of Davenport, Mark Kilburg (Sarah) of Ryan, Lisa Hackenmiller (Kevin) of Springville, Cindy Robertson (Shane) of Springville and Julie Kilburg of Davenport; his grandchildren, Cameron Fox, Christina Rodier (Brandon), Kyle Kilburg (Emily), Ryan Kilburg (Kelli), Jacob Kilburg, Lizzie Kilburg, Emily Robertson, Evan Robertson and Dylan Hackenmiller; and his siblings-in-law, Katie Kilburg, Jean Kilburg, Bette Herrig, Dori Tuftee (Randy) and Dan Herrig (Renee). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established in Leo's memory.
