With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharel S. Kilburg of Bellevue, Iowa, born in Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on October 30, 2023 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharel S. Kilburg to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Schmidt and Loretta Schmidt (Franzen); her parents-in-law, John H. and Mary Kilburg; her brother Allan Schmidt; and her in-laws, Norman Kilburg (Darlene), Felix Moellers, Mary Reuter, Bud Schmidt (Emma) and Bill Portz.
She is survived by : her husband John A. Kilburg; her children, Paula Michel (Dale) of Springbrook, Sandy Kilburg of Moline, Brent Kilburg (Lynn) of Maquoketa, Shelly Brehm (Cliff) of Cuba City, Kristi Wagner (Joel) of Bellevue and Craig Kilburg (Amy) of Dubuque, Iowa; her grandchildren, Chris Brown, John, Anne, Paul Kilburg, Justin, Jacob Henning, Taylor, Alyssa Wagner, Brayden and Kylie Kilburg; her siblings, Karen Kilburg (Bill), Ardo Schmidt (Jan), Lyle Schmidt (Pat), Eldon Schmidt (Valerie) and Leon Schmidt (Deb); and her in-laws, Red Kutsch (Addie), Elsie Moellers, Julius Reuter, Wayne Kilburg (Lois) and Janice Portz.
Sharel will graciously donate her body to the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics for research following services.
