He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lynn and Ruth Arlene Ersland (Lein); his wife Meredith (Jenison); his daughter Michelle Dorr; his siblings, Randal, Larry "Babe", Rebecca "Becky" and Roberta "Bobbi"; and his nephew Eric Kraling.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Ersland (Buffy) of Belmond and Melissa Hoffman (Chad) of Colorado Springs; his grandchildren, Ryan Dorr (Nikki), Alex Dorr (Ana), Rachael Ersland (Jen) and Grayson Hoffman; his son-in-law Michael Dorr; and his siblings-in-law, Jan Ersland, Lois Jenison and Larry McBain.
