It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester Hackbarth of Belmond, Iowa, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Barbara Hackbarth, Betty Swanson, Shirely Southard, Herbert Hackbarth Jr. and David Hackbarth; and his siblings-in-law, Ellen Hackbarth, Frank Lester, Raymond Swanson, Norman Pals, Leslie Southard and Eugene Hoopingarner.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Lester of Belmond, Charlotte Pals of Belmond and Katherine Hoopingarner of Belmond. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
