He was predeceased by: his siblings, Barbara Hackbarth, Betty Swanson, Shirly Southard, Herbert Hackbarth Jr. and David Hackbarth; and his siblings-in-law, Ellen Hackbarth, Frank Lester, Raymond Swanson, Normal Pals, Leslie Southard and Eugene Hoopingarner.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Lester of Belmond, Charlotte Pals of Belmond and Kathryn Hoopingarner of Belmond. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ewing Funeral Home - Belmond Get (111 Luick's Ln S, Belmond, IA 50421). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ewing Funeral Home (111 Luick's Ln S, Belmond, IA 50421). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
