He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Willow Willms; his parents, Vernon Willms and Velma Willms; his brother Verlynn Willms; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Myrna Schmitt.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Schmitt; his son Zach Willms (Sandy); his grandchildren, Ashlynn and Ashtin; his son Kyle Wilkinson (Bradi); his grandchildren, Alexis, Archer and Reece; his daughter Kali Scheidecker (Steve); his grandsons, Grant, Austin, Weston and Lincoln; his son Jordan Willms (Lia); his grandchildren, Azalia, Zinaria and Liliaunna; his son Chase Wilkinson (Sarah); his grandchildren, Daxton, Declan and Silas; his siblings, Vicki Harken (Arlen), Vaughn Willms (Elaine) and Van Willms (Deb); and his sister-in-law Cindy Taylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
