It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Danny Dale of Bernard, Iowa, born in Leon, Iowa, who passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Arnot Dale and Velma Belle Dale (Holland); his son Nathan Allan; and his siblings, Darrell (Louva), Donald, Derwin, Dick (Joann), Darlene Hamilton (Daryl "Buck" Hamilton), Dianne Michael (Bill) and Sharon Fry.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Susan Still; his son Jason Daniel (Sarah) of Garden Grove; his daughter-in-law Summer Dale of Oxford, IA; his sisters, Beverly Fry (Ronnie) of Van Wert and Barbara Michael of Leon; his grandchildren, Monty Dowell of Afton, Clayton Dale (Shelby) of Indianola, Wyatt Dale of Leon and Lyndsey Dale (Graden Arnold); and his great grandchildren, Landry Arnold of Leon, IA, Aimee Dale of Des Moines, Josie, Carter, Lexi, Kyrah and Aliyah Dale of Oxford, IA. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the New Salem Cemetery (Davis City, IA 50065).
A memorial fund has been established in his name for the family to decide later.
