She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Gillette and Marjorie Gillette (McCoy); her husband Tom; her daughter Stacy Wiater; her grandson Mitchell Knapp; her sister-in-law Susan Gerdts; and her niece Angela Gerdts.

She is survived by: her children, Scooter Sharp, Jr. (Patty) of Clayton, NC, Jeff Knapp (Becki) of Nodaway, IA, Thomas Knapp, Jr. and Jody Knapp (Terri) of Villisca, IA; her grandchildren, Jess (Kyle), Blake (Luc), Ricky, Peyton, Preston, Brendan, Marshall, Jade, Addie, Zak, Laura, Michael (Leann) and Mariah (Josh); and her son-in-law Rick Wiater of Bellevue, NE. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
