She was predeceased by: her parents, John G Kurt and Ella Kurt (Moorman); her husband John C Donovan (JC); her son-in-law Dave Gassman; her siblings, Germaine (Harlan Bechen), Henry Kurt, Dorrance (Betty Kurt), Charlie (Kit Kurt), Mary, Rita (Billy Martin) and Jane (Lloyd Steffen); Chris, Liz Donovan, Arnold, Lucille Donovan, Doris and Lester Manders.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Gassman of Bernard, Judy Coyle (Merlin) of Bernard and Mike Donovan; her grandchildren, Amy Kane (Mark), Angie Gravel (Steve), Tom Coyle (Kristi), Mike Gassman (Gina), Lisa Boffeli (Brad), Jill Knepper (Ben), Kerri Noonan (Blaine) and Sam Donovan; her stepgrandchildren, Ryan Gravel (Emily), Maggie Kilburg (Cody), Jared Gravel (Emily) and Sadie Gerlach (Wade); her great grandchildren, Ella, Emily, Grace Kane, Connor (Cambrie Schute), Caden, Landon, Owen Coyle, Lauren, Cara, Cecelia, Adrienne Boffeli, Carter Gravel, Lucy, Zoe Gassman, Eli, Cade, Mae Knepper, Ridley and Ryder Noonan; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Willa, Maggi, Cooper Kilburg, Kollyns Gravel, Lola and Kirby Kilburg; her brothers, Earl (Louetta Kurt), Tom (Rita Kurt) and Pete (Mary Jane Kurt); her family, Trish, Artie Driscoll, Laura, Eric Maiwald, Brian and Iliana Driscoll; and her nieces and nephews, Richard Steffen, Jerry Kurt, Mary Lou Donovan White and Fred Donovan.
Memorials will be made to St. Patrick Church, Garryowen and the Fire Departments and EMS units of the Bernard and Cascade communities.
