She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Hudek and Berndiena Hudek; and her husband Gilbert Hood. She is survived by: her sons, Brian, Kim Hood of Mitchellville, IA, Bill and Darci Hood of Reasnor, IA; her granddaughters, Jenny Lough (Tanner), Emma Hood, Haley Cline (Ethan), Lindsey Paramore (Russ) and Oliva Hood (Trevor Fagg); her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Weston and Jackson; and her sister-in-law Frances Hedeman (Donald).

Memorials may be given to Pella Hospice.
