Mary English Obituary

We announce the death of Mary English (Bernard, Iowa), who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 73. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcella Josephine Braun Devine and James William Devine; her parents-in-law, Clem and Margie English; her aunts, Kathryn "Kitch" Devine and Marie Devine; and her siblings-in-law, Judith English, Elizabeth "Liz" Lammert and Duane Lammert.

She is survived by: her husband Tom English; her daughters, Desiree "Desi" English and Trisha English; her granddaughter Louise English; her brother Mike Devine (Judy); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Henneberry and Joan English. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mary's honor, and checks may be made payable to the family.
