It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil M. McDonnell (Bernard, Iowa), born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul McDonnell and Kathleen McDonnell (Rea); his sister Janice McDonnell; and his brother-in-law Mark "Billy" Talbert. He is survived by : his sisters, Patricia Warner (Gary) of Loveland, CO, Barb Otting (Mark) of Cascade and Marilyn Talbert of Dubuque; and his nieces and nephews, Justin Otting, Craig Otting (Rachel), Meredith Lahey (Eric), Lana Nachtman (Joey), John Paul Reiter (Erin Sheets), Stephen Reiter and Michael Reiter. He is also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a Neil M. McDonnell memorial fund has been established.
