He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dale, Polly Ballinger and Charles Latch. He is survived by: his parents, David "Dub" Ballinger and Paulette Ballinger (Latch) of Windsor; his children, Greyson and Mila Ballinger of Davenport, Iowa; his grandmother Betty Latch of Neoga, Illinois; his siblings, Heather Rincker (Rusty) of Windsor, Travis Ballinger (Rachelle) of Neoga, Henry Ballinger of Windsor and Pyrinthia Ballinger of Windsor, Illinois; and his former wife Rachel Martinez (Manny) of Davenport, Iowa.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family to help with his children's education.
