We announce the death of Eloise L Houseal of Bettendorf, Iowa, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 97. Eloise will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Henninger and Janet Henninger (Adey); her former husband Jack Lange; her husband Vern Houseal; her son Michael Lange; her grandson Gary Martin; and her brother Elmer Henninger.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Lange, Karen Berneking (Doug), Timothy Houseal (Kathy) of Hattiesburg, MS, Thomas Houseal (Lucy) of Vicksburg, MS, Nanette Martin (Leland) of Orion, IL, Jennifer Dryoel of Milan, IL and Gwen Aleksiejczyk (Rich). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to Christ Church Davenport or a charity of your choice.
