It is with sadness that the passing of Gene D. Belvel of Bettendorf, Iowa is shared. Gene, born on May 29, 1946, passed away on August 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Belvel (Gatrel). He is survived by: his father Ted Belvel; his wife Suzanne Thompson; his siblings, Ken and Madge; his brother-in-law Moe DeSmet; and his friend Marine.
In honor of Gene's service and dedication to his fellow veterans, memorials may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
