He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Mick" McDermott and Kathryn "Kay" McDermott Jr. (Ruefer). He is survived by: his wife Jayne Johnson; his sister Judy Keefe (Barry) of Cleveland, OH; his siblings-in-law, Johanna Johnson (Linda Free) and Rock Johnson; his stepfather-in-law Art Lopez; his children, Drew and Tenley; Mary Grace. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
