Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Clarence and Mary Alice Schramm (Padgett); his wife Katherine Elizabeth Kirk; and his siblings, Jane, Phillip and Charles Schramm.

He is survived by: his children, Erin Schramm (Steven Charles) of Thornville and Matthew Schramm (Lynn) of Geneseo, Illinois; his granddaughter Carya Schramm; and his pet Bif. He is also survived by many grand dogs and cats.
