James Seward Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Seward (Bettendorf, Iowa), who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 65. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Seward to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Seward and Mary Seward; and his siblings, Kevin Seward and Madonna Seward. He is survived by: his wife Becky (Jim); his children, Nick Seward (Amy), Tony Seward (Denise Johnson) and Stephanie Brey (Michael); his grandchildren, Andy Seward, Lily Seward and Clara Brey; his brother Danny Seward; his sister-in-law Tanya Seward; and his nieces and nephews, Brandon Seward (Tori), Sheraden Seward, Kelly Budd, Jennifer Budd, Lisa St John, David Budd, Eric Budd and Jeremy Budd.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (4097 18th St, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (804 E 39th St, Davenport, IA 52807).
In lieu of flowers, the family would love donations in Jim's honor to be made to King's Harvest animal shelter and the Bettendorf Ecumenical Food Pantry. Jim's family would like to extend gratitude to the donor network, who helped Jim give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
