She is survived by: her sister Evelyn G. Thomas-Thurston; her children, Kenneth D. Brinkley (Bonnie Brinkley) and Paula K. Brinkley-Edwards; her grandchildren, Jacob J. Posey, Kathleen "Katie" R. Edwards, Heather Angel and Christian Brinkley; and her nephews, Gregg Thurston and Brad W. Thurston (Tammy Thurston).
