He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Entwistle, (Kallal) and James M. Entwistle, Sr.; and his brother Paul Entwistle. He is survived by: his wife Siv Brit Saetre M. D.; his children, Solveig Entwistle and James M. Entwistle, III; and his sisters, Mary (Christopher), Ruth Entwistle, Amy Franks (Douglas) and Carol Entwistle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to River Action, Nahant Marsh Education Center or a charity of your choice.
