John L. Klein III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John L. Klein III of Bettendorf, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Klein, (Kaiser) and Dr. John L. Klein, Jr.; his brother Gregory Klein; his parents-in-law, Katherine and Lester Moe; and his brother-in-law David Moe.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Kaye Moe of Mary's Cathedral; his children, John Klein (Elisa), Paul Klein (Patsy), Katherine "Katie" Klein Nash and Matthew Klein (Angie); his grandchildren, Kelsey Klein, John T. "Bud" Klein (Dani), Lauren, Christian, Braden Klein, William, Charlotte Klein, Alexander and Ava Nash; his siblings, Andrea Clifford and Thomas Klein (Patricia); and his sister-in-law Judy Deters (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (916 E Rusholme St, Davenport, IA 52803). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle, Assumption High School, or St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
