We bid farewell to John P. Lavelle of Bettendorf, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 9, 2026 at the age of 78. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Donald and Theresa Lavelle (McGowan); his wife Martha Fentem of Paul's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Paul, Donald, Thomas and Michael.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Lavelle and John (Emily Lavelle); his grandchildren, Kassidy Rose, Lucas John, Gabriel Ryne, Naomi Violet Lavelle, Kamryn Ann and Ryne Patrick Lavelle of Aiken; his sister Mary Malcrone; and his sisters-in-law, Eleanore Lavelle, Linda Lavelle, Karen Lavelle, Joyce Fentem, Martha Pearl Fentem and Luann Zoerner.
