We bid farewell to Judy D. Whipple of Bettendorf, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 1, 2025 at the age of 72. Judy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Otero and Dorothy Otero (Rea); her brother Danny Otero; her granddaughter Hannah Whipple; and her aunt Margaret Barth.
She is survived by: her husband Frank T. Whipple; her children, Tricia Despeghel (Mike) of Bettendorf, Kari Bergert (Roger) of Bettendorf, Frank Whipple (Stacy) of Bettendorf and Matthew Whipple (Laurel) of Commerce City, Colorado; her grandchildren, Alex, Cameron, Katelyn, Mason, Lily, Frank, Jacob, Ben, Grace and Riley; her great grandchild Clarke; and her siblings, Sherry Myers, Ruth Smith, Larry Otero (Sue) and Bennie Otero.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (1506 Brown St, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A Mass was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clarissa Cook Hospice House or King's Harvest Pet Rescue No Kill Shelter.
