With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Jean Schappaugh of Bettendorf, Iowa, who passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Glen Raymond; her husband Byron R. Schappaugh; her son Dennis; and her brother Tom. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Schappaugh (Nancy Thompson) of Aurora, CO, Debra Bishop (Drake) of Davenport and Doreen Schappaugh of Davenport; and her grandchildren, Mandy, Chad, Adam (Cara), Amy, Alex (Tina) and Eric.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to "Winnie's Place" for city bus passes to help women in shelters to their destinations.
